The Boston Globe has been doing features on smaller homes. While this particular home is more modern than my normal style, I still appreciate all of the details that this young couple added to their home when they remodeled it, and how warm the feeling is in the house, even though it is modern. The house just gives off a very happy vibe.
The home is about 1780 square feet, and in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Here is the link to the article.

It's too modern for my tastes, too, but I can appreciate the lightness and simplicity of it. I love the openness and all the windows in the kitchen area. The stairs are pretty neat, too.
It's def too modern for me, but I still like it - especially the woodsy wallpaper in that tiny bathroom, which makes it seem so much larger than it really is. It's a very cheerful home!
I could be very comfortable in this home, as long as I had enough storage for everything! Very pared down, and love love love the treads on the staircase! Janell
I LOVE it!! How are you!! I feel like I have not talked to you in forever! Let's have coffee or something soon. I'm moving to the Trilogy building, Starbucks at the bottom:)
I really like all of the small details like the painted mural in the child's space and the detail on the stairs.
This house is perfection- the stairs seem too cutesy for the rest of it though. Nicely done!
i love it. it has a modern freshness without taking itself too too serious.
